Meet the Class of 2030

Our first class

The inaugural class of the ASU John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering represents students selected to help shape a new era of medicine. Chosen through a highly selective admission process, these future physician-engineers bring exceptional academic achievement, diverse experiences and a shared commitment to improving health care through innovation, technology and compassionate patient care.

As members of the first class at the Shufeldt School, they will help define a new model of medical education that integrates medicine, engineering and systems thinking. Together, they are preparing to improve care for individual patients while helping transform health systems for communities everywhere.
