ASU is committed to providing financial support for admitted medical students. Through a combination of institutional resources and the generosity of private donors, including the lead gift from Leo and Annette Beus, scholarships will be awarded to support future physicians who embody academic excellence, innovation and a passion for improving health outcomes in Arizona and beyond. These scholarships aim to reduce financial barriers and empower students to pursue careers in medicine without the burden of overwhelming debt.

Students will be considered for institutional scholarships during the admission process.  Both need-based and merit-based factors are considered. Students are encouraged to submit the FAFSA by ASU’s Jan. 15 priority deadline.

Other internal and external scholarship resources may be utilized to assist with educational expenses and reduce debt incurred.

If you are the recipient of an external scholarship, checks should be made payable to Arizona State University and mailed to the ASU Scholarship Office for processing. Students and donors may include the original award notification with disbursement instructions or ASU’s Scholarship Recipient Form.
