ASU is committed to providing financial support for admitted medical students. Through a combination of institutional resources and the generosity of private donors, including the lead gift from Leo and Annette Beus, full and partial-tuition scholarships will be awarded to support future physicians who embody academic excellence, innovation and a passion for improving health outcomes in Arizona and beyond. These scholarships aim to reduce financial barriers and empower students to pursue careers in medicine without the burden of overwhelming debt.

Students will be considered for institutional scholarships during the admission process.  Both need-based and merit-based factors are considered. Students are encouraged to submit the FAFSA by ASU’s Jan. 15 priority deadline.

Other internal and external scholarship resources may be utilized to assist with educational expenses and reduce debt incurred.

Submit an Outside Scholarship Payment

Arizona State University uses Backpack to receive outside scholarship payments. Outside scholarships are funded by organizations or individuals other than their parents/guardians. ASU no longer accepts paper checks and all payments must now be submitted online.
